Frank R. Harrison
Frank R. Harrison is a passionate executive with 30+ years of experience in multi-million dollar corporations spanning the Financial Services, Entertainment, and New Media industries.
After graduating from the NYU Stern School of Business, Frank’s first position with Citibank’s credit card operation empowered him to coordinate budgeting, programming, credit strategy, and other analytic projects to develop new strategic models for credit card collections.
Frank later joined MetLife Insurance in a sales and business development capacity, offering him opportunities to engage in entertainment marketing promotions. After 3 years in the financial services sector, Frank transitioned to Sony Music Entertainment (Columbia House), where he augmented his previous experience within distribution, strategic marketing, direct marketing, and international artist development responsibilities.
During this time he earned his MBA from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business concentrating in Global Marketing, Finance and International Management. In 2005, Frank went on to develop consulting opportunities for music companies with an emphasis on the growing mobile and wireless industries. Frank returned to NYU in 2007 to earn his Master of Arts degree in Psychology while continuing to coordinate alumni efforts at NYU Stern.
Over the course of his dynamic entrepreneurial and analytic career, Frank has crafted an approach to business that is rooted in effective marketing, forward-thinking tech, and a genuine desire to better the world around him. Thanks to this, he’s been able to make significant progress in a variety of areas. He created this site to serve as a hub for his previous press, media, and other blog content — but he also knows that this is only the beginning.
Frank R. Harrison is now focusing on developing an affinity marketing platform dedicated to raising funds for healthcare.
Originally launched during his graduate studies at NYU, this platform will pave the way for a new kind of fintech: one that is rooted in community-driven action to deliver a social good and more economical way to pay for everyone’s health care needs.
At the same time, he is building the Frank About Health brand.
As someone who has epilepsy, Frank is determined to break down the stigma that surrounds this disease and enlighten people on its emotional, physical, financial, professional and social effects. He has done this through the Frank About Health radio show as well as numerous other outlets. Frank has also been involved in FACES (Finding A Cure for Epilepsy and Seizures), an organization affiliated with NYU Langone Health and its Comprehensive Epilepsy Center.
